I've already written a rave review on their 5' light rod. This rod has all the good qualities it does. I won't use this medium action rod as much because I generally use spinning rods for lighter fishing than a medium action is ideal for. What impresses me so much about these rods is their sheer quality and the design that eliminates the problems normally associated with multiple piece rods. Read my review on the 5' model and apply those comments to this rod. Thanks to the manufacturer for making a product that excels at what it is supposed to do. If I go on a trip where I'll need a light tackle inshore rod that stores easily, this will be the rod I depend on.
